Eurovision Sport - the digital streaming platform from the European Broadcasting Union - is kicking off a new season of women’s football.

W – Sport’s Women’s Football Weekly will showcase the best moments from prominent women’s football leagues across Europe and the USA*, making them accessible European-wide, free of charge.

And Eurovision Sport is also broadcasting key live matches from the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup Colombia 2024™ in selected territories**. There will be live coverage of matches from the knock-out stages through to the Final on Sunday 22 September.

By focusing on women’s football, Eurovision Sport underscores its commitment to elevating women's sports on a global stage and expanding its audience. The digital streaming complements the work already done by public service broadcasters to help grow the women’s game.

Jean-Baptiste Casta, Director of Business Operations & Eurovision Sport, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to shine a spotlight on the thrilling talent in women’s football and bring their inspiring performances to a worldwide audience.

“It builds on the EBU’s announcement last month of a landmark agreement with UEFA to broadcast the UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 in 34 territories with public service media’s extensive coverage supplemented by additional coverage on Eurovision Sport.

“At Eurovision Sport, we are just getting started on our mission to champion women's sport across the continent.”

W – Sport’s Women’s Football Weekly launches on 17 September and is produced by W-Sport, a leader in coverage of women’s sport globally. Eurovision Sport aims to make these highlights a cornerstone for fans and a stepping stone for more comprehensive coverage of women's sports across the wider EBU network.
