For a very long time (well, forever, really…) radio genres/profiles have dictated the music content of channels. It is still the norm to be fair. However, with the surge of on-demand programmes and a real change in listeners’ behaviours and tastes (reacting much more to sounds, moods and activities), some radios are experimenting with new services, foregoing traditional categorizations. The session showcases recent initiatives.
