Empowering Europe's Audiovisual Sector: A Vision for Cultural Diversity and Skill Development
23 February 2024On 28 February, the EBU, in collaboration with the partners in Creative Skills Europe, published the European Framework of Actions (FoA) on Skills to enhance professional skills and foster innovation within the audiovisual sector.
The FoA recognises the central role played by the audiovisual sector in safeguarding Europe's cultural diversity and outlines strategic measures that reflect a collective commitment to nurturing creativity and talent.
The FoA on Skills will be presented to national bodies in Brussels on March 12, 2024, followed by engagements with partners in Southern Europe in Madrid on April 11-12, 2024, with subsequent events planned for Eastern and Northern Europe.
This initiative will complement the ongoing efforts of the Large Scale Partnership on Skills in the Cultural and Creative Industries, reaffirming the Commission's dedication to fostering growth and resilience in these vital sectors.
