Ban or not ban? What about copyright? Visibility? Reliability? The question of whether and how to allow webscraping on public service media online content is a heated one.
In this workshop co-organized by the EBU's AI and Data Initiative, Media Digital Unit, Digital Committee, and Legal & Policy department, we will be joined by a number of Member organizations - each with their own perspective on the matter - including SVT, BBC, YLE, CBC / Radio Canada, and Radio France. These Members will present and compare their respective approaches (current and future), to support other Members who are still be on the fence about this. This will be complemented with a viewpoint on the legal implications of different approaches from our EBU legal and policy expert.
Join us to discuss this burning question with your peers!
Please contact Lalya Gaye for information about how to register.
